1991 : Coretta Scott King asks Orrin Hatch not to remove sanctions against employers who hire illegal aliens for fear of harming
black american workers . Why did Mrs King have to reach out to republicans to get real love for the black community ?

Is it looking like a new executive order? The "travel ban" seems to have just been dropped. What happens next?

Hello everybody. I'm hoping some of you will be interested to know there's a new poster which contains the full text of the more than 7,000 tweets President Trump sent out during the 2016 election. From what we know, there’s nothing else like it. Specifically, “The President Donald Trump 2016 Election Tweets Poster” contains 1.1 million characters of text in 7,634 tweets starting on 6/16/2015 just before Donald Trump announced his candidacy, through 11/9/2016.

To fit all this content in a reasonable space, our posters use small font sizes to get the job done. This poster is a manageable 12 x 26 inches. We also offer magnifiers with our posters to make them easy to read.

Islamic *practices* violate civil rights

#110

#110 Post by tom-huguenard » Sat Feb 18, 2017 7:42 am

Here's the thing about Islam: It skates the line between freedom of conscience and freedom of religion. Being Muslim is often a coerced choice, and thus a violation, in those cases, of the American fundamental value of freedom. Coercion takes many forms, but one form is that of breaking up families when a member uses his or her freedom of religion to choose a non-Muslim belief system.

I submit that this is a violation of basic human rights, and that the State is actually supporting this sort of violation of human rights by extending tax-exempt, faith-based benefits to such organizations.

Essentially, the State is complicit in violating individuals' civil rights by supporting religious systems like Islam coercing a decision which should be between an individual and his or her conscience. I urge support for the purpose, not of outlawing Islam, but outlawing, within the United States, coercive measures in violation of individual civil rights.

I foresee a future in which every individual has the First Amendment freedom of religion which our founders promised, and in which those organizations that coerce membership will be vigorously prosecuted by the US Justice Department. By this simple expedient, American Mosques will be rid of coercive influences, and American Islam will set an example for the world to follow.

Freedom of Conscience must underlie Freedom of Religion, or there is no freedom of religion. The Constitution must protect the rights of the individual or it protects the rights of nobody. Stark words, but true.

Best regards.

Excellent first post!

I would also go so far as to propose that Congress is violating their own misguided Separation of Church and State. By focusing on, and passing laws for, Muslims in business, politics, education, etc. they are according special privileges or a "RELIGIOUS TEST" according to according to article 6 of the Constitution.

Granted, article 6 focused on political office. But when you "legislate against one religion (Christianity) and in favor of another religion (Muslim's Islamic Religion), while maintaining a "Laissez-faire"
Laissez-faire (/ˌlɛseɪˈfɛr-/, French: "live and let live" is an economic system in which transactions between private parties are free from government intervention such as regulation, privileges, tariffs, and subsidies. The phrase laissez-faire is part of a larger French phrase and literally translates to "let (it/them) do", but in this context usually means to "let go".
relationship with all other religions, you are affording a significant advantage to the favored religion, something that clearly does not abide by the "spirit of the law."

The "Religious Test" is being applied "BY" politicians and courts, in favor of one religion and against another religion. The net result of these "Religious Tests" is an emboldened religious sect that eventually gains and magnifies their foothold in AMERICAN POLITICS, not just in favored rulings and legislation, but in ELECTIONS! A foothold that would not be accomplished if it were not for the "FAVORED RELIGION" position afforded by the American Government and which they enjoy and exploit economically and politically.

The Nation needs to be REMINDED about JUAN McCain's 35 years as a senator from Arizona as he looked the other way,
as illegals walked through HIS door.

Also, McCain's Criminal Case and Association with THE KEATING FIVE SCANDAL needs to be talked about again. Most
kids growing up today do NOT know about JUAN McCain, and his criminal past.

Kids today have NO IDEA of JUAN McCain's corruption....or...How he spent 35 years as a senator from Arizona, and NEVER ONCE spoke up about Illegal crime and immigration, UNTIL recently

Star Trek Nerd

Prime Directive Violation

#118 Post by Star Trek Nerd » Tue Mar 14, 2017 1:40 am

Inter- Galactic News Flash :

Famed British Shakespearean actor Patrick Stewart , who emigrated to America to find fame portraying a French Captain of an
American lead coalition of space pioneers on a futuristic starship known as the U.S.S. Enterprise , (a sure tribute to the advances of European socialism ) has found a way around around
the sacred "Prime Directive " , a non- interference lore , basic core belief , of The United Federation of Planets , which expressly
forbids the impositions or evolutions of Star Fleet values on the planet of the week being contacted .

Joining the fight on Trump justifies violating the esteemed oath in Stewarts mind , thus his announcement to become an American
citizen to effectively skirt pesky cultural boundaries that heretofore inhibited his noble quest , of assimilation and beyond .

Longtime fans of the actor note his film making alter egos , who always seemed embroiled , if not obsessed with the dissolutions
of invading entities .

The most revered Star Trek episodes of all time as voted by the fans of this American classic , dealt with Stewarts Captain Picard
being overtaken and assimilated by an alien culture , and his sheer disdain and repulsion for having been so .
This theme would be further explored in Star Trek : First Contact , also hailed by many as the best Star Trek movie to date at that time .
, where Stewart played a futuristic anti - immigrant hate monger , who could have destroyed the universe with his virulent us or them
view of the world , who was thankfully talked down by 1980's liberal Alfre Woodward .

Stewarts later works also included Moby Dick , another we can't just always get along paen between man and beast , and the later
more mature version of Stewart ,a liberal college professor in X-Men , who ran a school of super powered immigrants who he was fashioning in his own image ,
to take over the world and show that diversity was indeed our strength ,thus thwarting the bigotry of evil American politicians who
couldn't find it in their hearts to trust the invaders .
Stewarts Professor X fell short of his dream , as the call of jihad was just too much too resist , and Stewarts prized pupil just couldn't
resist the temptation to blow him to bits .

Wrath of Kahn #2 : To Brexit or not to Brexit

Donald Trump Jr dredges up article about London Mayor Sadiq Khan ( didn't these people learn anything from our mistake
of electing a muslim to higher office ?).
In the article , which apparently takes place after a New York bombing , which one I can't exactly remember , Mayor Kahn
claims to have had a sleepless night , and cautions Londoners about the natural order of things , namely big cities will always
be subject to terror attacks .
Trump Jr rightly tweets , (yes , there are other Trumps twittering away out there ) "You have got to be kidding me ."
The worst comes in the comments section , when average everyday Joe 6-teacups Brits respond with sympathy to the poor
American simpleton , nostalgically referring to the salad days of IRA fun in the exploding sun , man made global warming if ever there
was some , and saying something to the effect that Don Jr shouldn't lose his head over it , because they have a long history of
losing theirs .
Those mates really do know how to keep a stiff upper lip .
We thought we were at our wit's end with Clinton fatigue .

What kind of sadomasochistic "kick me " signs do these people wear on their backs anyway ?

Dear Funny Lady Hostess ,

Reading your tweets about the looming Republican ACHA reset , I am reminded of that old television show ,
Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom , one of the original nature shows , where host Marlin Perkins calmy stood in the
foreground , while his sidekick Jim frantically wrestled in the background with a beaver that was trying to rip out his
pancreas , and Marlon intoning "If this ever happens to you , be sure you have been properly covered with Mutual of Omaha "

Who offered the better plan ?

Marlin Perkins or Paul Ryan ?

Can one schmuck , infinitely less interesting than a Kardashian , pull off a feat of magic that the world will never forget ?
Even on Coulter.com ?

With summer coming up , a talking point needs to be addressed ( possible next Trump scandal - rotting earth for money )
"Me generation " rehash from Reagan years.

The upcoming prosperity we could be facing will no doubt be attributed to the shameless raping of mother earth .

The Masked Magician will now attempt to tackle and not only blow back but deciminate this argument with the
least amount of effort and the most PHD qualified opinion papers of the scientific community no sane rational person
could ever refute , and will do so faster than even the Flash can't keep up with .

In other words : Global Warming : real or fake ?

Stopwatches out ?

Star Trek sometimes tells one side in one episode and the other side in another episode.

"STNG The high ground" puts the good guys against the terrorists.
"STNG Legacy" S04E06 puts the Enterprise crew is a less pure situation concerning the Prime Directive or even not negotiating with terrorists.
"Star Trek Voyager Resistance" S02E12 has Captain janeway helping against an authoritarian regime.

In my opinion the prime directive is just a convenient excuse for Federation people to refuse to help others. They ignore the directive whenever it suits them, so clearly there is something higher than that directive.

For example, Riker destroyed Yuta in "STNG The Vengeance Factor". That was interfering.

And speaking of being against assimilation, look at what the Federation did to the Borg. j/k

I always look to Ann to educate the lazy. And stupid. And liberal. I am going to ask her to give a history lesson to the left. Ann can provide links and quotes and dates. I can summarize the problem here:

The REAL problem with Russia began when Obama and the EU decided to overthrow the democratically elected government of Ukraine. The president of Ukraine had ties to Moscow. Obama wanted Ukraine to be in the EU. So he just decided to create a "coup." Ukraine is on the Russian border. It has historical ties to Russia. Putin was floored. He responded by taking Crimea. Then "the little green men" began arriving in eastern Ukraine. They were Russian troops in disguise.

Obama taunted Putin. "Russia is a regional power. They aren't a threat beyond their own borders." Putin responded by bombing in Syria. Then he dominated the war in Syria. Obama, as usual, was playing "catch up." Then he put US troops in Syria. Obama's ego, and ruined relationship with Putin made negotiating peace in Syria impossible. Obama supported rebels with terrorists. Putin supported Assad. And here we are....

CO2 gasses are God created , not man created , and He is still creating a lot more of it than man is . Despite All Gore's
predictions of cataclysmic flooding , Early Genesis tells us of the rainbow given as a sign that God will not allow cataclysmic
flooding to wipe us out as He once did .
It really does not seem God's style , to give us large amounts of gas and oil , and then say "But you can't use it " .
Also , The U.N. is now on record as saying climate change is really all about " redistribution of wealth "
a scheme Karl Marx or Chairman Mao could have only dreamed of .

We have a really nice Biblical section on the inside, with some very knowledgeable fellers' posting. Please join up with your thoughts and opinions.

Just found out that there has been 2 ballots send out to people in france that will vote for anything but le pen :loopy: ..... don't know how far this news has gotten and if the people in france are ok with it seeing how they won't do any "investigation" AFTER the election :nag: .... sure... I'm sure they will do a thourough "investigation" if she loses... and if she wins... that sure will say a lot won't it!!!! :chuckle:
